Hi, I’m Niklas, a programmer from Germany. I created Parental Control in 2021 after people started using my productivity app 1Focus for that purpose.

Parental Control helps you protect your children from harmful content and manage their screen time. Besides password protection, it offers features like recurring blocking (e.g. Mon-Fri) and multiple block lists for different purposes (e.g. homework or bedtime).

There are a lot of inappropriate websites that you might want to protect your children from. Also, you might want to limit social media and video games to prevent computer overuse and addiction. If adults are at risk, what about the impressionable mind of a child?
